Dan Kahlscheuer, PTA

My interest in physical therapy started in high school when I had three surgeries on my knee and then again in college when I had another 2 surgeries on the same knee. I was in physical therapy frequently and enjoyed the experience. I then decided to change my career path to the Physical Therapy Assistant field.

I attended the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College where I had a passion for learning about the body’s healing process and the different ways we can help our patients.  I did my first clinical with Back In Action Rehabilitation in January of 2016 and had a great time with the people here. I graduated in May of 2016 and started work with Back In Action Rehabilitation at the end of May 2016.

I grew up on Washington Island and loved playing football, basketball, and soccer throughout high school and into college.  I enjoy continuing to play sports and love outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and hiking.
