Rachel Badtke is a licensed occupational therapist who earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Mount Mary University, following dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise and Sport Science and Psychology from Marian University. She is passionate about empowering individuals to regain their independence and engage in meaningful daily activities that enhance their quality of life.
Rachel has a special interest in hand therapy and is actively working toward becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). She also enjoys working with clients across the lifespan and brings a warm, patient-centered approach to every session—meeting individuals where they are and helping them reach their goals through personalized care.
Her connection to Back in Action runs deep, having served in various roles over the past four years—including front office support and therapy aide. Now stepping into her role as an occupational therapist, Rachel is excited to continue growing with a team that already feels like family.
Originally from Illinois, Rachel proudly supports the Cubs and Bears—though she promises to keep the sports rivalries friendly in Wisconsin! Outside of the clinic, she enjoys playing softball, reading, running, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with her rescue dog, Bruno.
