Alysha Claflin is a licensed physical therapist dedicated to helping you move better, feel stronger, and live with less pain. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Concordia University Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has an eager drive to provide evidence-based care to those recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or those working towards their recreational goals.
Alysha has experience working with patients of all ages—from 1 month to 98 years old! She has worked with athletes and weekend warriors to post-surgical patients and retirees managing long-term conditions like arthritis or neurological disorders. She gained clinical experience in home health, industrial, and pediatric outpatient settings and has a passion for pain psychology and balance training.
Her treatment philosophy centers on active listening, patient education, and creating customized plans that fit your lifestyle. Alysha believes in empowering patients to take control of their health through knowledge of the body, where the muscular system can treat itself through training and how to reduce pain risk in the future.
Alysha grew up on a dairy farm in Luxemburg, WI and now lives with her husband in Hartford. When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time gardening, watching movies, hanging out by the lake or traveling with her husband.
Alysha is excited to be part of your journey toward better movement and wellness at Back-in-Action!
