Michela is from Richland Center, WI and grew up participating in many sports including volleyball, basketball, and soccer. She was injured during a soccer game and had to go to physical therapy. Thsi sparked her interest in physical therapy, along with learning more of the profession from her Aunts and family friends that are physical therapists. She decided to pursue physical therapy as a career. After graduating UW- La Crosse in 2018 with her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise and Sport Science, she went to Western Technical College in La Crosse for an Associate’s degree in applied science for Physical Therapy Assistant and graduated in 2020. She hopes to use her degree to help others return to normal function so that they may continue to do the things they enjoy. In her spare time she enjoys many activities including going for walks outside, working out, playing sports, and spending time with her husband, dog, and family.
